During its annual meeting in November Haverhill Bank announced the promotion of four staff members to leadership positions.
Angelita Martinoli and James P. Henebry were both promoted to senior vice president, while Matthew Currie was promoted to vice president and Alison M. “Ali” Defina to assistant vice president.
Martinoli, who previously served as vice president of human resources, brings more than 20 years of industry experience. She received her Business Management degree, majoring in Human Resources Management, from Southern New Hampshire University. She joined Haverhill Bank in June of 2021.
Henebry, who previously served as vice president of commercial lending, specializes in lending and relationship management. He says his passion is working with businesses to provide banking solutions and advice. He is active with various local nonprofits and serves on the board of directors of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Haverhill and the Greater Haverhill Foundation. Henebry joined Haverhill Bank in 2012.
Currie previously served as assistant vice president, commercial credit administrator. He is a lifelong resident of the area, growing up and currently residing in Manchester, N.H. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and International Economics. He was also a staff sergeant in the New Hampshire Air National Guard, serving from 2012 to 2020 as a KC-135 boom operator. He began at Haverhill Bank in July of 2023. Defina, promoted from manager of the Rosemont branch, has been in banking for more than 20 years, beginning with Citizens Bank as a teller and moving on to Institution for Savings Bank as a customer service representative, Peoples United Bank as a customer service representative before joining Haverhill Bank in 2016. She is active in the community, participating at many local events.
