1.Haverhill Bank is a participating lender with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston’s Equity Builder Program, a grant developed to help first time homebuyers who earn no more than 80% of the area median income, as determined annually by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development. The program may be available to qualified borrowers and is used to lower down payments and closing costs. Availability is not guaranteed as funds are accessed through an enrollment pool on a first-serve-basis. A Home Ownership Counseling course must be completed through a Haverhill Bank approved provider. Eligible residential owner-occupied, one family and approved condominiums.
